5th Steppe Grey Shrike Lanius lahtora pallidirostris for The Netherlands
From 16th-26th October 2014 a first-calender-year Steppe Grey Shrike Lanius lahtora pallidirostris was seen at Fort Erfprins / Den Helder / Noord Holland.
If accepted (by the CDNA), this would be the fifth record for the Netherlands, after birds on:
4th – 23rd September 1994: Cocksdorp / Texel / Zuid Holland (first-calender-year)
27th October – 9th November 2012: Hoornder Nieuwland /Texel / Noord Holland (first-calender-year)
29th April – 3rd May 2014: Maasvlakte / Zuid Holland (second-calender-year) > see
